England football team or should I say the English national men’s football team who represent England which is controlled by The Football Association are one of the highest ranking national teams in Europe and they are as far as I know ranked 5th in the world now as of October 2006. They have won the British Home Championship 34 times and the FIFA World Cup only once and this is why they are the most successful of the 4 Home nations.
England’s rivals are Scotland and the game to remember was England vs. Scotland Euro 2000 play off in November 1999 and this is where Scotland beat England 1-0 at the stunning Wembley Stadium and England’s other rivals have to be Argentina and Germany.
England won the World Cup way back in 1966 and the question is will they ever do it again many people and dedicated fans like myself say of course they can when the time is right.
